A Therapeutic Boarding School (TBS) offers students accredited academics and therapeutic support and intervention over an average 12-18 month stay.

Therapeutic Boarding Schools (TBS) are generally used after a student has completed a short-term hospital stay or therapeutic wilderness program and/or has shown the willingness and motivation to change.

A TBS has restrictions at the start of a student's stay, but a student will gain more freedom as they progress through the program, such as using their cell phone, getting a part-time job and enjoying outings off campus.

The TBS will offer social, emotional and academic support to help them reach their full potential, while also helping them learn from their mistakes.
